Our chosen charities

To celebrate Leigh Trust’s 10 year anniversary at Leigh Primary we raised money for two local charities: Womens Aid and Trussell Trust.

Leigh Trust Enterprise Scheme

Y4 Enterprise raised £106

For Leigh's 10th Anniversary, the children created football themed bracelets which were sold at our Summer fayre. They worked hard to make the bracelets then decide what they needed to charge in order to make a profit fir Women's Aid - well-done Y4 #lifelonglearners

Y6 Enterprise raised £235.76

Year 6 had a busy and exciting end to the school year. They worked hard preparing for their enterprise sale as part of the Leigh Trust's 10-year anniversary, raising money for Women’s Aid. The sale was a success, with children and staff selling personalised bookmarks and pencil cases; families across school even placed orders with the Y6 team - well-done Y6 #lifelonglearners

Teddy Bear's Picnis - EYFS

In celebration of Leigh Trust's 10th Anniversary, our EYFS organised a delightful Teddy Bear Picnic, which also raised funds for Women's Aid. Thank you to all the parents for supporting us; we had a fantastic turnout for our celebration picnic. Parents and children had a wonderful time #relationshipbuilders

Walk and Talk - Years 3 and 5

No money was raised from the Y3 and Y5 sponsored walk

Y3 and Y5 as part of their Leigh Trust 10 Year Anniversary celebrations enjoyed getting outside in the fresh air and exercising daily. The purpose of the walk was explored and children enjoyed the opportunity to 'walk and talk' with their peers promoting positive mental wellbeing #memorymakers
